WICHITA - Katherine "Katie" Kraft, 99, Wichita, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at Terrace Gardens, Wichita. Mrs. Kraft was born Katherine Ehrlich on Sept. 2, 1900, at Tscherbakovka, Russia, and and was a Wichita resident since 1980. She was a former resident of the Russell area, and she and her husband farmed in the Milberger area until 1937. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Russell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel, in 1990; a son, Leon; an infant son, Milton; and a daughter, Thelma DeLa. Survivors include a son, Marvin of Wichita; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, 610 N. Maple, Russell 67665, the Rev. Michael Fibranz officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Russell.
