Former Cost Man Dies In Kerrville
John Hassman died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday in Kerrville. Services are set for Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the Seydler Funeral home with the Rev. B. E. Breihan of Kerrville in charge.Burial will be in the City cemetery.
The deceased was born April 1, 1865, in Germany and was married to the former Emma Juengermann who preceded him in death on February 6, 1949. He was a former resident of Cost.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs, Velma Dendy of Kerrville, and Mrs. Estelle McKay of San Antonio; a foster daughter, Mrs. Lillie Muenchow of San Antonio; one brother, George Hassman, Seguin; and three grandchildren. A son, E. A. Hassman, preceded his father in death several years ago.
