Anna McKay
Graveside services were held Monday, March 4, at 2 p.m. at the City cemetery for Mrs. Anna Estello McKay, 75, of San Antonio who died at 9:15 a.m. in that City on March 1, The Rev. Norman Albertson officiated at the rites with Seydler-Hill Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. McKay was born in San Antonio, the daughter of John and Emma Juengermann Hassman, natives of respectively of Germany and Gonzales. She was married to Thomas G. McKay on May 3, 1932, and he preceded her in death on May 7, 1967. She had served as secretary for the San Antonio Independent School District and was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.
Surviving her are a son, Thomas J. McKay of Germany; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Munchow.
