Russell -- Rose M. Pingel, 82, died July 24, 1992 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born Nov. 22, 1909 at Victoria, the daughter of Pius and Margaretha Weber Leiker.
A Russell resident for over 50 years, she was a cook for several Russell businesses, retiring as a cook from the Russell Elks Lodge. She also was a part-time cook for the VFW, Russell. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Russell.
Survivors one son, Gene Pingel, Mission Viejo, Calif.
Rosary will be at 7:30 Monday at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Russell, with Father James Grennan presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
