Sylvester M. Clark
Sylvester M. Clark, 75, rural Cherokee, died Thursday, April 27, 1972, at the Sioux Valley hospital, Cherokee, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church with Rev. Robert Dougherty officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary cemetery under direction of the Greenwood funeral home. Rosary will be said Friday at 8 pm.
Mr. Clark was born Sept. 12, 1896, on a farm he operated until his death. He married Clara Wilberding Jan. 5, 1926, at Remsen.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Mary) Rohde of Emerson, Neb., Mrs. Virgil (Patricia) Schumann of LeRoy, Minn., and Mrs. Frank (Kay) Hase of Denison; a son, Jack of Cherokee; a brother, Edward of Ashton; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
