Services were held Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church at Babbtown for Edwin Bernard Schroeder, 77, a native and life-long resident of the Babbtown community. The Rev. Gerald Scheperle was to conduct the funeral for Mr. Schroeder, who died Saturday (Feb 15, 1992) at his home, with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Schroeder was born Jul 17, 1914 to Johna and Maime Welch Schroeder. He was married Feb 2, 1937 at Argyle to Bernadine Catherine Wieberg, who died Sep 27, 1988. A farmer, he was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
