A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 12, 2006 for 99-year-old Clarence R. Schremp of Perryville, who died Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born July 3rd, 1907 in Perry County, the son of Aaron and Victoria (Huber) Schremp. They preceded him in death.

He married Adell Zahner April 9th, 1928. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include three sons and daughters in law, Leland and Ruby Schremp, Russell and Euline Schremp, and Dale and Carole Schremp, all of Perryville; two sisters, Theresa Schremp and Elsia Radclift, both of St. Louis; 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Melvin; a granddaughter, Jill; two grandsons, Marvin and Jeffrey; seven brothers, Edwin, Arthur, Edgar, Lester, Wilbert, Leonard and Emmet.

He was an agriculturist and livestock farmer, was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church, and was a 3rd degree Knight Of Columbus.

Visitation will be from 4-8:30 p.m. Friday, August 11th, and 6:30-10:15 a.m. Saturday, August 12th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A Catholic and Knights of Columbus wake will be held Friday at 7 p.m.; the Rosary will be recited Saturday at 9:30 a.m., all at the Chapel.

A funeral Mass for 99-year-old Clarence R. Schremp of Perryville will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 12th, 2006 at the Christ the Savior Catholic Church. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
