Sheboygan Press, Wed. May 1, 1968, p. 8:5. Otto Roehl, 82, a retired Town of Osceola farmer, who lived at rural Campbellsport in Fond du Lac County, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend, after a short illness. He was born Jan. 27, 1886, and was married June 23, 1908, to Emma Plautz. She died on Apr. 9, 1964. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edna Kempf, West Bend, and Mrs. Frank Backhaus, Dundee; two sons, Vilas, Town of Osceola, and Herbert, Cascade; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Rahn, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee, with the Rev. Norbert Mielke officiating. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Cemetery, Fond du Lac. Friends may call at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport until Thursday noon and then at the church.
