Agatha Rita Werth, 100, Seneca, formerly of Atchison, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Crestview Manor, Seneca.

Aggie was born on Oct. 29, 1911 in Hays, the daughter of Anton and Amelia (Kaberlein) Rupp.

She graduated from Girls Catholic High School, Hays. She had worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Kipis in Hays, Dr. Kuhn in Russell, Dr. Schubert, in Great Bend, and Dr. Scrimeca, in Atchison. She was an avid bridge player, member of Sacred Heart Church, the Atchison Hospital Auxiliary, St. Agnes Quilting Circle, the Altar Society, the American Legion and VFW Auxiliary's and the Atchison Shepherd Center. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, and playing bridge. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking, baking for her family and friends.

She was married to Clement J. Werth Sr., on July 3, 1934. Mr. Werth preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons; Dr. Claude Werth, Ocala, Fla., and Clement Werth Jr., Firestone, Colo., a daughter, Cynthia Cone, Fairview, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, daughter, Clarice Dugger, three brothers, Richard, Anthony, and Edward Rupp and a grandson, preceded her in death.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Gerard Senecal, OSB as Celebrant. The body will be cremated following services and burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Atchison.
