CULBERTSON -- Amelia Wagner Yost, 89, died Thursday in the Homestead Nursing Home, Lincoln. She was born June 29, 1894 at Culbertson to John and Marie Wagner and was married to Charles Yost. He preceded her in death in 1963. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Church in Culbertson and started the Women's Missionary Society there. She was a member of the Culbertson Order of Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron in 1949. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Culbertson.

Survivors are two brothers, William D. Wagner of Blackfoot, Idaho and Albert B. Wagner of Rockford, Illinois and two sisters, Mrs. Jake (Mollie) Wacker of North Platte and Mrs. Lloyd (Clara) Metzer of McCook.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church, Culbertson. The Rev. J.B. Choate will officiate. Burial will be in the Culbertson Cemetery under the direction of the Carpenter-Breland Funerah Home in McCook.

Memorials are being accepted in her name to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Culbertson.
