VIOLA M. (MARQUARDT) SCHWALBE

Mrs. Viola M. Schwalbe, 81, formerly of 1416 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died
Monday evening, Nov. 25, at Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services
will be 1:30 pm Friday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Schwalbe was born Oct. 20, 1904 at Bonduel, daughter of the late William
and Amalia Busch Marquardt. She was educated in Zachow, Wis. She was married
to Rene Schwalbe, June 26, 1924 at Zachow, Wis. They had been resided here all
their lives. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Schwalbe was a
member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church and was employed at Groelle
Clover Farm Store.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rene and Kathleen of Route 2, Two
Rivers; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Walter Sievert of Manitowoc;
two brothers, Erdman Marquardt of Manitowoc and Leo Marquardt of Athen, Wis.;
a sister, Manilda Serwe of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, a grandchild.
Friends may call at the church from 11 am until the time of services on Friday.
There will be no Thursday evening visitation at the funeral home. Jens Funeral
Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements. The casket will remain
closed.

In accordance with the duties which are provided for in the Statutes, I beg leave to
submit my report of all proceedings and hearings relative to patients committed to
the Wisconsin General Hospital for treatment since the filing of my last report up to
and including January 1, 1937.
