Topeka Capital-Journal Sunday 4 February, 1973:

WETMORE - Services will be Monday at St. James Catholic Church here for Raymond F. Boeckman, 54, Rural Goff, who died Friday night in a Seneca hospital where he was admitted Jan. 29. He suffered a massive cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born May 13, 1918 southwest of Kelly where he spent his early life. He attended St. Bede's Catholic elementary School at Kelly. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in Europe. He was a farmer.

Mr. Boeckman live northeast of Corning and spent the past 20 years in the community east of Goff. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church at Wetmore and the American Legion Post at Goff.

He was married to Lucille Deters Aug. 25,1949 at Baileyville. She survives. Other survivors include 4 sons, Daryl Boeckman, Steven Boeckman, Dennis Boeckman and Kevin Boeckman, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Josephine Boeckman, Kelly; 2 brothers, Alvin Boeckman, corning and Lawrence Boeckman, Goff; and 6 sisters, Mrs. Ernest Hulfles, Corning, Mrs. Walter Wichman, Seneca, Mrs. Francis Henry and Mrs. Lester Deters, both of Goff, and Mrs. Ambrose Schmitz and Mrs. Richard Schmitz, both of Baileyville.

The Goff Post of the American Legion will conduct graveside services at Wetmore Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Sunday at Lauer Funeral Home at Seneca.
