Adeline Bertha Forster, 85, of Princeton, died December 14, 2012, at Elim Care & Rehab-Princeton, where she resided since July 2008.
Adeline was born September 14, 1927, to Albert and Mathilda (Frietag) Schlueter in Farming township, northwest of Richmond MN, the youngest of 14 children.
She married Charlie Forster in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on September 14, 1946. They were married for 56 years, working hard but always finding time for family and friends. They enjoyed fishing, dancing and playing cards.
Adeline was very active in her church community, teaching religion for many years, singing in the church choir and attending bible studies. She was an extremely organized person and always took pride in her home. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting, making countless doilies as gifts. She liked to cook and bake, loving to try new recipes. She will always be remembered for having a fresh pot of coffee ready, homemade doughnuts and gingerbread cutout cookies during the holidays.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Mary and Dennis Emmerich of Princeton; two grandsons, Eric Emmerich (Dawna) of Yankton SD and Evan Emmerich (Courtney) of Clearwater MN; five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Isaac, Brynne, Carina and Brock; her twin sister, Evelyn, in Mesa AZ, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charile, on December 8, 2002, her brothers, Ed, Albert, Carl, Clarence, Arnold, Art and Hubert; her sisters, Emma, Minnie, Anna, Oliva and Milda.
