Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud for Hubert "Hub" E. Schlueter, 87, who died Monday at Talahi Care Center, St. Cloud. Interment will be on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday morning at the church.

Hub was born to the late Albert and Mathilda (Freitag) Schlueter in Farming Township, Stearns County, MN. He was a residence of St. Cloud since 1942. He married Myrtle W. Neitzel on December 26, 1948. He was employed at Franklin Manufacturing for 32 years, retiring in 1982.

Hub was preceded in death by four sisters and six brothers.
