NATIVE OF CHILTON IN ILL HEALTH FOR 15 YEARS
Mrs. Ernst Zeidler, 94, the former Eva Schabel, died early Friday morning at a nursing home in Milwaukee. She had been a resident of that city for the last six years and in ill health for the last 15.
She was born in Chilton May 9, 1871, the daughter of John and Margaret Wicklein Schabel.
She went to Chicago as a young girl and was married to Ernst Zeidler there. They lived in Marshfield for many years where her husband was a cheese broker. He died about 20 years ago.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nicholas Feltes of South Bend, Ind., and Mrs. Mattie Russell of Los Angeles, Calif., and nieces and nephews in the Chiton area. Four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral Home in Chilton and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church there.
Rev. Henry. Schmitt will be celebrant of the Requiem Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home until the hour of services.
