After her husband died in 1901, she moved to Detroit, Michigan and lived either with or near to the families of three of her daughters who were living in Detroit at that time. She died in Detroit on May 14, 1926.
"The body of Mrs. Agnes Geaskameir, former Ironton resident, who passed away in Detroit, Michigan arrived here Saturday afternoon. It was taken to the home of Mrs. Charles Walters of 614 North Seventh Street. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Church Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Calvary Cemetery under direction of O'Keefe and Company." (Ironton Evening Tribune, May 23, 1926).
She was buried in Section E of Calvary Cemetery next to her husband.
