"Mrs. O'Conner was the mother of Eileen (John) Kaser, Mary Joan (Steve) Fechner, Patty (Tony) Garrison, and the late Donald Jr.; Grandmother of Glenn and Leah Weraarchakul, Carrie and Erin Kaser, sister to Lidwina (the late Milton) Stacy, Henry (Val) Luetmer, Colette (the late John) Gates, Marie Luetmer, Al (Maureen) Luetmer, Mary Lou (Robert) Harris, Valerian (Joann) Luetmer, and the late Sister Nora Luetmer, O.S.B.; Mother-in-law to Witoon Weraarchakul.
"Rose graduated from Cathedral High School in Saint Cloud, MN in 1935 and received nurses' training at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. She settled in Chicago and took a medical post with American Airlines. She later moved to Passavant Hospital before marrying and starting a family. After raising her family, Rose returned to work briefly, but found she wanted to spend more time with her disabled granddaughter, Leah, now 19. In order to do so, she needed to travel to Bloomington, IL, which she did every time the chance arose.
"Rose Ann O'Connor was a very caring person who specialized in doing things for others. Her family & friends will sadly miss her."
