He retired after 30 years of service with Frigidaire, he was a member of the 25 Year Club. He enlisted into the US Army during WWII at Columbus, Ohio on Jan 11, 1943.
He is survived by his daughter, Louise Szabo, one grandson, Joseph, one great grandson, Joseph Jr.; four sisters, Alvina Werling of Dayton, Monica Broerman and Florentine Kemper, both of Burkettsville, and Elenore Kemper of Fla.; one brother, Ernest Borgerding of Ft. Recovery, Oh.; several nieces and nephews and friends.
Friends may call at the Guy J. Magetti Funeral Home, Dayton, Oh., Friday 4-8 pm., where prayers will be said Saturday 9 am. Mass of Christian burial to follow at 9:30 am at Our Lady of The Rosary Church with Rev. Richard A. McKenney officiating. Burial Glen Haven Cemetery.
