Florentina Kemper, 77, formerly of St. Marys, died 4:30 pm Wednesday at Wapakoneta Manor following an extended illness. She had made her home with her daughter in Wapakoneta since 1973.

She was born Oct 23, 1905 in Burkettsville to Robert and Bernadine Westerheide Borgerding. On January 25, 1928, she married Gregory J. Kemper, who died April 11, 1973.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Reier, Mrs. Mary Miller and Mrs. Treva Kuaile; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Alvina Werling; and a brother, Ernest Borgerding.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, three sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Kemper was a housewife. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic church, St. Marys.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 am Saturday at Holy Rosary church. Rev. James O. Byrne will officiate. Burial in Gethsemane cemetery.
