JOHN E CURFMAN, aged 76, a resident of Thurmont, died Tuesday morning at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born in Maugansville, Md, he was the son of the late Elmer and Isabelle Ash Curfman.
He was employed by the Maryland State Sanitarium, Sabillasville, before retiring 12 years ago.
Surviving are children; Mrs. Jane Wagaman, Sabillasville; James E Curfman, Ringgold; Joseph E Curfman, March Air Force Base, Riverside, Calif; Mrs. C Wm Eyler, Thurmont; sisters, Mrs. Effie Beel, Baltimore; Mrs. Rena Tate, Mechanicsburg, Pa; brother, Frederick Curfman, Pikesville; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services Thursday at 2:30 pm at M L Creager and Sons Funeral Home, Thurmont conducted by The Rev Samuel A Moyer; interment in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont.
