He was born and reared in Williamsport, a son of Elmer and Isabelle (Ash) Curfman.
He worked for 30 years at the R Paul Smith Power Plant at Williamsport. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the legion, Williamsport Zion Lutheran Church, and the town's fire company.
Surviving are his wife, Alma Ruth Keller Curfman; son, George Donald Curfman, Port Huron, Mich; step-son, William Ditlow, Wilmington, Del; two grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Effie Beale, Baltimore; Mrs. Rena Tate, Mechanicsburg, Pa; brothers, Frank, Zullinger, Pa; Fred, Pikesville, Md; and John, Thurmont, Md.
Services Saturday at 2 pm at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev William C Huddle officiating; burial in River View Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Leaf Funeral Home.
