Harold Kanzler, 75, of Scottsbluff, died Friday, July 21, 2000, at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. A private interment will be 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2000, at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Cremation was held. Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff is in charge of arrangements.

He was born June 8, 1925, at Lyman to John and Mary (Schott) Kanzler. He grew up and received his education in Scottsbluff. He was a self-employed truck driver. He hauled beets, silage, and farm produce. He had lived in the panhandle all of his life and was currently residing at Beverly Health Care in Scottsbluff.

He is survived by his sisters, Donna Johnson, June Ring, and Loretta Schmall, all of Scottsbluff, Dorothy Kobobel of Greely, Colo., and Lillian Dietz of California; and brother and sister-on-law Melvin and Betty Kanzler of Scottsbluff. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John.
