Mary Kanzler, 59, of 1024 Tenth Avenue, died at a local hospital Sunday. She was born May 9, 1905 in New Norka, Russia. She came to the United States at the age of 2 years, to Weld County, Colo., where she received her education. She married John Kanzler Dec. 20, 1919 in Weld County. They came to Scottsbluff in 1921and have lived here since that time. She was a member of the Neighborhood Church Assemblies of God. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Melvin and Harold, both of Scottsbluff and John Jr. of Chadron; five daughters, Mrs. Donald Schmall, Mrs. Henry Ring and Mrs. Harry Johnson, all of Scottsbluff, Mrs. Victor Dietz of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Fred Kobobel of Greeley, Colo.; one brother Henry Schott Jr. of Chadron; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Bauer of Kimball and Mrs. Lydia Ring of Scottsbluff; and 18 grandchildren. Three children preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. today at the Neighborhood Church, Assemblies of God, with the Revs. Donald F. Stuckless and E. M. Herrman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The Benson-Jolliffe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
