Hermine Rehling was born Jan. 19, 1865 in Oldenberg, Germany. She was baptized and confirmed in her homeland. In October, 1880 the Rehling family came to America and settled on a farm near Scribner, Nebr. On August 17, 1883 Miss Rehling was given in marriage to her late husband, Henry (Heinrich) Munderloh, also a native of Oldenberg, Germany. Mr. Munderloh passed away on July 23, 1915. In 1920 Mrs. Munderloh moved to San Bernardino, Calif. for her health. Here she and her daughter Mathilda lived for 18 years. Three years ago they move to Orange, Calif., where they had bought a home at 383 S. Grand St. Mrs. Munderloh passed away at her home in Orange on Dec. 29, 1945 after several weeks of illness. She had reached the unusual age of 80 years, 11 months and 17 days.

She leaves to mourn her departure three sons, Ed, George, and Fred, all living near Bancroft, and one daughter, Mathilda of Orange, Calif. Another daughter, Louise, (Mrs. Wm. Groth) preceded her in death in August of 1917. There are sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the Shannon Funeral Home in Orange, Calif. on Dec. 31 by her pastor Rev. A. C. Bode. On Jan. 4, funeral services were held in Zion Lutheran Church of Bancroft, her former church home. Interment was made in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor A. Ira Grimm officiated.
