Aberdeen - Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Schuck, 84, of Aberdeen, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aberdeen. Father James Zimmer will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. There will be a liturgical wake service and rosary 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at the mortuary. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday, all at the mortuary. Mary passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital. Mary Ann Schneider was born Jan. 6,1920, to Sebastian and Katharina (Wolf) Schneider at Kintyre, N.D., where she was raised and attended country school. Mary married Leonard Schuck July 6, 1940, at St. Michael's Catholic Church near Kintyre. They farmed in the Kintyre area for several years. They later moved to Aberdeen and have resided here since that time. Leonard passed away in 1956. Mary worked at the Capitol Cafe for several years. She also did private housekeeping for 56 years for many families in Aberdeen. Mary was a member of the Aberdeen Moose Lodge and the VFW Auxiliary for many years. Mary enjoyed traveling, attending craft shows and was an avid walker. Mary enjoyed attending family events and especially spending time with all her grandchildren. Surviving Mary are four daughters, Angeline (Dave) Culver of Green River, Wyo., Virginia (Joe) Bauer of Aberdeen, Dee Olson of Aberdeen and Mary Kay Zeman of Aberdeen, two sons, William Schuck of Aberdeen and Larry Schuck of Aberdeen, five sisters, Betty Fettig of Portland, Ore., Theresa (Jim) Miller of Portland, Ore., Maggie Kuntz of Bismarck, N.D., Katie Schneider of Portland, Ore. and Christine (Willie) Heier of Bismarck, N.D., four brothers, Tony (Mary) Schneider of Portland, Ore., Pete (Lorraine) Schneider of Aberdeen, Joe (Kathy) Schneider of Bismarck, N.D. and Mike Schneider of Butte, Mont., 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, Jerome Schneider and Louie Schneider. Pallbearers will be Larry Schuck Jr., David Schuck, William Schuck, Jr., Jason Zeman, Terry Wiedrich, Michael Wiedrich, Kenneth Wiedrich and Joey Bauer.
