Henry Harrison Messner died Saturday evening January 25, 2014, in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, PA nearby where he had lived most of his life. Born in the same township, he is the second child of Norman Kiefer and Amy nee Shirk Messner. He raised vegetables for market most of his life on his three and half acres. His Boston terriers and black lab were his constant companions. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads, telling stories, family and American history, and photographing wildlife.
There survives two brothers and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Irwin Messner.
