Howard L. Messner, 80, of East Earl, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his home.
He was the son of the late Norman and Amy (Shirk) Messner.
Howard was a self-employed auto and small engine mechanic.
Surviving is his wife, Helen (Burkholder) Messner, of 59 years; six sons, Kenneth, Donald, Melvin, Kevin, Kelvin, and Darrell; a daughter, Evelyn; 19 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are three brothers, Roy, Henry, and Irwin.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 2 PM at Bridgeville E.C. Church, 5971 Division Hwy., Narvon. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from Noon – 2 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
