Peggy K. Johnson (nee Klunck), longtime resident of Sheboygan and Cedarburg, was born to Eternal Life, Saturday, April 19th 2014 at Luther Manor River Oaks in Mequon, WI at the age of 89.
Peggy was born May 25, 1924 in Sheboygan to Gottlieb and Elizabeth (Hense) Klunck. She attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School and Sheboygan Central School.
On March 27, 1943 Peggy and Paul Marquis Johnson were united in marriage. For many years they were residents of Cedarburg and Sheboygan. After 64 wonderful years, Paul preceded her in death on October 4, 2007.Peggy's employment included working with her husband, working with the unions and later, working in real estate.She led a full, active life which included bowling well into her 80's, golfing, playing with her grandsons and loving her dogs.
Peggy was the loving mother of Patricia (James) Greenway and Pamela (Chris) Bucholz; the loving grandmother of Scott Koehler, Matthew Bucholz, Michael Greenway, and Adam Bucholz; the loving great-grandmother of Danielle, Bradley, Luke, and Lizzy.
In addition to her husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul E. Johnson; her grandson, Marcus Koehler; her sister, Frieda Rautmann; her brothers, Gottlieb, Christ, John, Alex, Ernest, Otto, and Victor.
Private family memorial services were held. Entombment is in Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
