Otto Klunck, 61, of 1206 MacArthur Ave., died Tuesday at St. Nicholas Hospital where he was a patient for the past week.
Mr. Klunck was born May 30, 1926, in Sheboygan, a son of the late John G. and Marie Hense Klunck. He attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School, Central High School and Sheboygan Vocational School.
During World War II Mr. Klunck served in the U.S. Navy. On June 25, 1949, he married Helen Holden of Sheboygan Falls at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Klunck was a self-employed painting contractor from 1955 until his retirement in 1974. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and the Jensen Van Thruler Disabled American Veterans Chapter 15.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Jay (Bonnie) Brigham of Alma, Mich., and Mrs. Patrick (Nancy) Eirich of Sheboygan; four grandchildren; six brothers; Gottlieb, Alex, John, Ernest, Christ and Victor, all of Sheboygan; and two sisters, Mrs. Elroy (Frieda) Rautmann of Sheboygan and Mrs. Paul (Peggy) Johnson of Cedarburg.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral service's will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Krehz associate pastor, will officiate. The burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels from 5 p.m. today, and td 11 a.m. on Thursday and at the church from noon to time of services.
