Glen E Fegley, 80 of Decatur passed away Monday, February 23, 2009 at Adams Memorial Hospital. Glen was born on February 9, 1939 in Van Wert, Ohio to Walter & Anna (Kirchenbauer) Fegley. He married Betty J. (Allen) on October 7, 1951 and she passed away on July 20, 2007.

He is survived by a son Brad Fegley of Fort Wayne, two daughters Mrs. Cathy (Michael) Basham and Mrs. Amy (Patrick)
Rumschlag both of Decatur, a sister Mrs. Betty (Leonard) Egly also of Decatur, seven grandchildren Scott & Nicole Fegley, Jamie & Jessica Basham, Alec Jordan and Ben Rumschlag. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty and three brothers and two sisters.

Glen was a former member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. He worked for A & P Grocery Store for 30 plus years and he retired in 1991 from Hower Tool where he worked for 12 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 43, V.F.W #6236 and Moose Lodge #1311. Glen served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home. Funeral services will also be at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Rev Ken Mahan will be officiating and burial will be at Backesto-Springhill Cemetery with Military graveside rites by American Legion Post #43 Color Guard.

Memorials are to St. Joe Tuition Fund or ACCF Angel Cancer Fund.
