The funeral of Morris Gross, a former resident, was held here this afternoon, with services at the Christian Church by Rev. E. Miller of Ft. Wayne, and interment on the hill. The Gross family used to live west of Winamac, where Mrs. Gross died nine years ago. Most of the time since then Mr. Gross has lived with his daughter Mrs. Amanda Fuller of Alexandria, and his death occurred at her home Tuesday, from Bright's disease. Mr. Gross was eighty-two years of age on Feb. 25. He was born in Madison county, Ind., and served in the Civil War. He is survived by daughters Mrs. Effie Wynes of Grant count, Mrs. Della Werkhoff of Indianapolis, Mrs. Myrtle Rutherford living west of Winamac, Mrs. Fuller and Miss Cordelia Gross of Logansport; sons Thomas of Elwood, Benton of unknown address, and Norval in the Army.
