Louis Alfonso, 80, passed away Sept. 10, 2006. Preceded in death by his parents, Vito and Anna Alfonso; two sisters, Mary and Carmela; six brothers, George, Andrew, Leo, Vic, Joe and Tony. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Charlotte A. Alfonso; son, Wayne (Sheri) Alfonso; granddaughters, Jennifer (Albert) Dionisio, Kim Alfonso (Kane Moreno); two great-granddaughters, Erin Rae and Regan Jean Dionisio; great-grandson, Nick Moreno; two brothers, Frank (Marie) Alfonso and Sam (Ann) Alfonso; three sisters-in-law, Josephine, Lorraine and Lucy. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Louis was a member of the Eagle's Lodge No. 145. Viewing, 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at the funeral home. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, T.G. McCarthy Rose Chapel. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Military honors provided by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. Donations may be made in memory of Louis to the charity of your choice through the funeral home office.
