Shirley M. (Merwine) Niehenke, 70, formerly of Williamstown, Pa., died Sunday, January 04, 2004, at her residence. She was the wife of Donald R. Niehenke. Service will be private at the convenience of the family. The Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Niehenke was born in Williamstown on November 21, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Clement and Ada (Kimmel) Merwine. She is survived by five children, Sharon A. Reisinger of York, Randy A. Enders of York, Sherry L. Merman of Mohnton, Pa., April I. Blouse of York and Cindy L. Spangler of Dillsburg; 11 grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
