Eugene "Gene" F Heiman
BELOIT — Eugene "Gene" F Heiman, 79, Beloit, died Sunday, May 21, 2006. Mr. Heiman was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Beloit. He was a retired railroad employee, farmer and stockman.
He was preceded in death by two infant children.
Survivors include his wife, Lela L.; five sons, Steven of Belleville, Roger of Tucson, Ariz., Jim of Topeka, Jeff of Beloit and Jay of Salina; three daughters, Reva Hoffer of Beloit, Kathy Burnham of Woodbury, Tenn., and June Heiman of Phoenix; three sisters, Marie Keller of Hunter, Leona Hagstrom of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Frances Glaser of Dayton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit, Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Beloit. A vigil and rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Harrison Funeral Home, 302 N. Kersey, Beloit 67420.
Memorials may be made to Beloit High School wrestling.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
