Eugene Clinton Lentz was born in Mifflin Township, Dauphin, Pennsylvania as the 3rd son to Charles Warren Lentz and Minnie Mae Riegle Lentz. He was married to Marie Lannigan on 23 Dec. 1938. They had a son, Michael. Eugene served in the military along with his other 6 brothers. He was an Ensign in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country when his ship went down around the Philippines during WW II. He was listed as MIA before he was officially declared to have died on 11 Feb 1945.
