Avis Bell Lindberg passed away in Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops on Saturday evening, August 4, 2001 at the age of 88 years.

The Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, salmon Arm, on Wednesday afternoon, August 15th, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation with interment to follow in the family plot at Mt. Ida Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Mountainside room at Bowers.

Born in Spooner, Wisconsin, USA on June 19, 1913, Bell was a resident of Sorrento for 25 years prior to moving into Salmon Arm and later to Kamloops.

Her husband, John Lindberg, her second husband Bill Peever, an infant son, and a daughter Linda predeceased her. Bell is survived by her step-daughters, Vina Richardson, Audrey (Ernie) Schan, step-son, Len Peever, man grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a brother, Robert Bruner of High Prairie, Alberta.

Memorial donations in memory of Bell may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to [email protected].
