RESIDENT OF CITY, 77; 11 DAUGHTERS, SONS ARE SURVIVORS
Funeral services for Mrs. Ignatz Schaub, 77, who died Tuesday morning at her home, 510 Bragg St., will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry A. Maurer officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The former Catherine Blatner was born Jan. 21, 1889, in Josephthal, Russia, the daughter of William and Lenora Ulrich Blatner. She was married to Mr. Schaub, who died in 1960.
She came to the United States in 1909 and lived in Topeka, Kan., and moved to Fond du Lac in 1930. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Alex Weimer and Mrs. Paul Ptack, Chicago, and Mrs. Ervin Steinke, Mrs. Nathan Thurk and Mrs. John Chapman, residing in the city; six sons, William, Lockport, Ill., Carl and Joseph, Milwaukee, George, Chicago, Nick and John, residing in Fond du Lac; 33 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Anna Ullman, residing in South America. She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
The body is in state at the funeral home.
