LAUREL - Rosie Michael passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006. She was born on Oct. 8, 1929, to Phillip and Mable (Ruff) Michael. She lived all her life in and around Laurel.
She was baptized and confirmed in the First Congregational Church and is still a member today. She attended schools in the Laurel and Park City area. She lived and worked on the farm with her parents and brothers and sisters. Later they moved to Laurel, and there she took care of her parents and brother until their deaths. She loved to crochet and work in her yard tending her roses and flower beds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Molly Schuman, Elizabeth Leikam, Pauline Walter, Esther Michael, Lydia Uffleman; and brothers, George, Robert and Phillip. She is survived by Jacob (Pauline) Michael of San Leandro, Calif., Mary Krug of Laurel, Edward (Sandy) Michael of Park City, William (Joan) Michael of Billings, and Martha Stricker of Basin, Wyo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at First Congregational Church with burial in the Laurel Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Casket will be open one hour before services at the Church.
Memorials may be made to Big Sky Hospice or the charity of your choice.
