PARK CITY - Ed Michael Sr. 73, lifelong resident of Park City, passed away Dec. 26, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.
Ed was born Oct. 2, 1933, to Phillip and Mable (Ruff) Michael in Laurel.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy of Park City; children Gary (Denise) Michael of Alabama; Debbie (Bob) Diller, Park City; Cindy (John) Meeks, Laurel; Terry (Gina) Michael, Wyoming; Ed (Teri) Michael, Park City; Lisa (Kehm) Nelson, Park City; Amy (Kehm) (Val) Letcher, Laurel; brother Jacob (Pauline), Mary Krug, William (Joan) and Martha Stricker; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Molly Schuman, Elizabeth Leikam, Pauline Walter, Esther Michael, Lydia Uffelman, Rosie Michael and brothers George, Robert, and Phillip.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Park City Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Park City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
