Harold “Chic“ Grosskopf, 83, of Greeley died Thursday, March 14, at North Colorado Medical Center.
He was born March 20, 1918 to Jacob and Mabel (Gettman) Grosskopf in Greeley.
On Jan. 16, 1938, he married Tabitha Nazarenus in Greeley.
Mr. Grosskopf was educated in Greeley. He worked for Cloverleaf Dairy in Greeley for 15 years and retired from the Starr Bread Co. as a delivery salesman after 30 years. He was a member of the Highland Hills Senior Men's Golf Association. He loved hunting, fishing and all sports. He was a bowling member of the Left Handed Team. He enjoyed his family.
Survivors are his wife, Tabitha Grosskopf of Greeley; three daughters, Kay Redman of Greeley, Becky Arias of Greeley and Sharon Thomas of Fort Collins; a son, Steven Grosskopf of Chino Hills, Calif.; two sisters, Amelia Miller of Longmont and Freida Sitzman of Greeley; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A son, Robert Harold Grosskopf; a granddaughter, Kimberly Kay Redman; his parents; seven brothers and his twin sister are deceased.
Interment will be at 1:30 pm. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, followed by a Celebration of Life memorial service at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Video Ministry at Our Savior's in care of Stoddard Funeral Home.
