Anna Mathilda Wallner was the eldest child of Anton and Anna Sirk Wallner of New Bedford, MA. Anna was born at home at 366 Purchase Street in New Bedford. All of the Wallner children learned to play a musical instrument, and Anna's was piano. Anna married Walter Remington Snell on 2/12/1912. They lived in New Bedford and had one daughter, Marjorie Remington Snell, b 2/28/1914. Walter died a few years later. Anna married again, to Howard Edward Ferris, and with him had a son Arthur Wallner Ferris, b 1/21/1924. They lived in Milton, MA, where Anna lived the rest of her life.
