Mrs. Edna Evans, 48, of Baisdentown, near Lenore, WV., passed away at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday at her home following an illness of several months.

Mrs. Evans was the daughter of Peter and Fannie Maynard, and was married to Oscar Evans, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her father of Naugatuck, WV.; 11 children, Mrs. Freeman Elshire of Chapmanville, WV., Mrs. William Dixon of Ragland, WV., Forrest, William, Curtis, all of Chicago, IL., Albert, Donald, Franklin, Kennith, Ronnie, and Carol Sue, all at home; several grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Cecil Maynard, Jesse Maynard and Oscar Maynard, all of OH., H.P. Maynard and Hoover Maynard, Mrs. George Brinager and Mrs. Lottie Marcum, all of Naugatuck, WV., Sam Maynard of Moanaville, WV., and Mrs. Ethel Ham of Tazewell, VA.
