Mrs. Fannie (Evans) Maynard, 62, wife of Peter Maynard, of Naugatuck, WV., passed away yesterday afternoon in a Williamson hospital following an illness.

Mrs. Fannie Maynard was born March 30, 1890 at Naugatuck, WV., and had been a lifelong resident of that community. Mrs. Maynard was a member of the United Baptist Church. Hey body was to be removed this afternoon from the Ball Funeral Home to the residence of a son, Jesse Maynard at Big Branch. Services will be conducted there Saturday at 2:00pm with the Revs. Richard Stepp and Walter Raines officiating.

She is survived by her husband; five other sons, Homer, H.P. and Sam Maynard, all of Naugatuck, WV., and Cecil and Oscar Maynard of Eurington, OH; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Marcum, Mrs. Betty Brinager, and Mrs. Lottie Marcum, all of Naugatuck, WV., and Mrs. Ethel Ham of North Tazewell, VA.; three brothers, Antha Mills of Racine, OH., and Mrs. Mary Messer of Kermit; 69 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
