Betty Brinager, 89, of Parsley Bottom, WV., passed away Saturday, October 5, 2002 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital, South Williamson, KY.

She lived with her daughter Teresa and granddaughter Betty Michelle Hall.
Born February 8, 1913 at Naugatuck, WV. she was a daughter of the late Pete and Fannie (Evans) Maynard.

She was a homemaker and member of the Baisdentown Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Brinager; daughter Ludie York; brothers Cecil, Sam, Jessie and John Maynard; sisters Alice Runyons and Edna Evans; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Maynard of Dayton, OH., George Edward (Ruth) Brinager of Blackberry, KY., James (Nina) Brinager of Teachey, NC., Gene (Sue) Brinager of Belo, WV., Cecil (Ruby) Brinager of Racine, OH., Lonnie (Carol) Brinager of Belo, WV., Dave (Sherry) Brinager and Dale (Janice) Brinager, both of Lenore, WV.; daughters Pauline Evans of Naugatuck, WV., Betty Lee (Hubert) Newsome of Lenore, WV., Phyllis (Kenneth) Robinson of Columbus, OH., Tenna Brinager and Teresa Brinager both of Lenore, WV.; brothers, Hoover Maynard of Lenore, WV., Buck Maynard of Naugatuck, WV., and Oscar Maynard of Racine, OH.; sisters Ethel Hamm of Boisservain, VA., and Lodie Marcum of Naugatuck, WV.; 41 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
