Gene O. Wittrock, 88, of Belleville, passed away on June 17, 2013. Gene was born October 1, 1924 in Pipestone, Minnesota. She was the daughter of the late Fred W. Dickey and Florence (McEnaney) Dickey.
Gene enjoyed sewing, playing cards, going the church and talking to new people. She loved spending time with her family.
In addition to Gene’s passing, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years; Alwin Wittrock, one brother; Vernon Dickey, and two sisters; Frieda Terhark and Edith Marquardsen.
To cherish her memory she leaves two daughters; Judy (David Gipps) Wittrock and Patty (Jeff) Hamm and five sisters; Frances Adams, Ruby (Harvey) Hansen, Joyce (Richard) Hansen, Betty DeSchepper, Shirley DeBates, and three grandchildren; Zachary Gipps, Jillian Hamm, and Trevor Hamm.
