Leander married Jane Catherine Knouse (1851-1928) on 14 Nov 1872 at Midway Township, Davidson County, North Carolina. Jane's grave marker shows her to be born in 1841, but the 1860 census clearly shows her as eight years old and she had children until 1894, so I will use 1851.
Leander was a life-long farmer in Arcadia Township, Davidson County, North Carolina. Leander and Jane were the parents of seven children, six of whom have been identified, namely:
1. John H. Mock (1873-1953)
2. William T. Mock (1877-1884)
3. Jacob Solomon Mock (1882-1948)
4. Carrie N. Mock Weisner (1885-1958)
5. Robert F. Mock (1887-1930)
6. Emory Eugene Mock (1894-1967)
Was the seventh child Mary Jane Mock (31 May 1892 - 15 Jun 1892), also buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery?
Links to Leander's parents, wife, all of his six known children and thirteen of his sixteen known siblings and half-siblings are included below.
