She was born on April 17, 1926, in Portland, Oregon, to Aurelia and John Michalik.
Survivors include her sons, Tommie George and Gary George and his wife, Patty; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Charlie, Frankie, Johnny, Raymond, Paul, and Eddie Michalik; sisters, Aggie Winans and Lucille Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon E. George; parents; brother, Jimmy Michalik; and sister, Janie Tedder.
