Eva Jurk, 68, wife of Adam Jurk, 1111 1/2 Michigan avenue, passed away early Sunday morning at the St. Nicholas Hospital following a one month illness.
She was born on April 7, 1877, in Schaffer, Russia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Henning. She attended school in Russia and in 1896 was married to Henry Kaiser. In 1900 the couple came to the United States, they have lived in Sheboygan ever since. Mr. Kaiser died in 1936 and on Jan. 4, 1938, she was married to Adam Jurk.
The deceased was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ballhorn Funeral chapels and at 2 o’clock at Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev. Karl Schulz will officiate and burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapels until the time of services.
She is survived by her husband, three sons and two daughters, they are: Alex, Henry and John Kaiser, Mrs. Arthur (Emily) Pelchen and Mrs. Carl (Ida) Buenzow. Ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive with a brother, Frederick Henning. One son died in 1912.
