Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Braun, 89, of 529 Emmett, will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Braun died Saturday in a local hospital.

She was born Feb. 11, 1871 in Russia, and moved to Topeka in 1928 from Ness City, Kan. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, John T. Schiffelbein, Garden City, and John G. Schiffelbein of 570l W. 17th; six daughters, Mrs. Barbara Besler, 607 Grattan, Mrs. Maggie Haefner, 514 Wilson, Mrs. Lena Maurer, 707 Freeman, Mrs. Connie Degand, Mrs. Amelia Rohr, 326 Jewell, Mrs. Mary Pfeifer, Victoria, Kan.; 64 grandchildren and 100 great-grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at Brennan Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. today. The parish will recite the rosary at 8:15 p.m. today.
