FRIEBUS--Mrs. Agnes Friebus died at her home, south of Wilson, November 5, of dropsy of the heart. The funeral was held from the German Lutheran Church south of town [Immanuel (Coal Creek) Lutheran Church, Plymouth Township, Russell County, Kansas], Sunday, November 7, and was attended by many friends of the family. The deceased was 79 years, 4 months and 3 days old at the time of her death. She was born in Germany [Russia], and later came to this county, living near Wilson a good many years. Her husband, Chris Friebus, and several children survive her. She was a member of the Lutheran church, was a kind wife and mother, and a friend to all.
